Audemars Piguet Foundation 1992 – 2004 : achievements in the whole world In 1992, to mark the twentieth anniversary of the Royal Oak collection, the Manufacture Audemars Piguet created a non-profit-making foundation under Swiss law. Its purpose, within the framework of environmental protection and awareness-raising among younger generations, is to contribute to forest conservation throughout the world. From Monaco to Versailles… The first project undertaken by the Audemars Piguet Foundation was the reforestation of the Tête de Chien, a region just above Monaco that had been devastated by a huge forest fire. Working under the slogan “Time for Trees”, the Foundation has since supported almost thirty reforestation projects in the whole world.
